HEAR US FOR YOURSELF
THE BEST DANCE BAND IN THE BUSINESS
The house orchestra for the International Dance Festival (Royal Albert Hall), Open Worlds (Blackpool Tower Ballroom), UK Open Dance Festival (Bournemouth) and the BDF Star Ball, the LPSO are firm favourites with the greatest dancers in the world.
Our album “Let’s Face The Music And Dance” has provided some of the most used tracks for competitors, social dancers and demonstrations in recent times. It features tracks from the Puppini Sisters, Matthew Ford, Iain Mackenzie and Eleanor Keenan as well as liner notes from Brendan Cole and John Wood.
In addition to our own specially commissioned dance arrangements, we draw our music selections from classic libraries such as Count Basie, Tito Puente, Edmundo Ros, and Frank Sinatra as well as more contemporary acts including Whitney Houston, Michael Bublé, Harry Connick Jr, Christina Aguilera and Gloria Estefan.
FOR DANCE SCHOOLS AND SOCIAL EVENTS
To cater for smaller events the LP Dance Band was created. With fantastic arrangements written just for us, the line-up starts as a quartet and goes up to a 13 piece ensemble. The perfect live music for dance schools, socials and private events.
