Album Update

We thought it was about time that we brought you up-to-speed on the much anticipated new album From Abbey Road which we recorded with Matt Ford back in March. Many of you lent your support to the project through the Kickstarter appeal for which we're extremely grateful.

Our efforts to complete the CD in the expected timeframe have been hampered by isolations, 'pings' and studio availability. Very frustrating! Basically, we book the studio for mixing tracks and one of us gets 'pinged' by the NHS app. This means we have to cancel the session and re-book the studio. However the next time there is studio availability is weeks, sometimes months later. This has now happened several times. As you can imagine, this puts us quite a long way behind.

I'm pleased to say though, that the tracks that are complete are sounding fantastic! If you were listening to Elaine Paige On Sunday a few days ago on BBC Radio 2, you'd have heard the first playing of Blue Skies. You can listen back to the show on BBC Sounds or iPlayer - we're on about 34 minutes in.

We're hoping to have everything complete and CDs pressed by October. Thank you for your patience!
