Joe Stilgoe at the Concorde Club

Imagine running a jazz club for 68 years, the musicians, the amazing concerts, the dramas, the bar bills!!  Record breaking Cole Mathieson of The Concorde Club and Hotel (not in New York or London, but Eastleigh, a small town on the way to Southampton) has done just that. He is a legend amongst musicians, and guests of the club, usually found enjoying the concerts propping up the bar with his trusty Golden Retriever 'Louis'.

As a musician it is always a treat to perform in a room with such a heritage, passion for live music and a cheery welcome. Nowhere else in the country do the whole orchestra get fed chips and sandwiches in the interval!

You can experience the magic of this wonderful, specially designed cabaret/dining room for yourself on Tuesday 25th Feb (this Tuesday) with the LP Swing Orchestra alongside the absolute entertainment sensation that is Joe Stilgoe. If you have never seen Joe live do treat yourself, you won't regret it. A master singer, arranger, piano-player and showman, he'll have you laughing, singing and crying (hopefully not at the same time)!
