Keeping everyone safe

As we monitor the ever-changing scenario with regards Covid, it has become clear that there is still concern for many at returning to live events. With this in mind, we have taken the decision to postpone two of our 100 Years of Big Bands concerts: Croydon and Bournemouth. By moving them to Spring 2022, we hope that they will be better placed to keep everyone feeling safe. The new dates are on the diary.

The Congress Theatre in Eastbourne is a much bigger and modern modern space. We will limit sales here to 50% capacity. This will ensure that there is plenty of space in the auditorium. The theatre's policy is that you are encouraged to move to an area less populated should you feel uncomfortable prior to the show starting. There will be lots of space available to enable this. They also have one-way systems in place, hand-sanitising stations throughout and are asking everyone wear masks. Doors will open an hour before the show to allow for the audience to enter with no crowding. As part of the recent refurbishment, the theatre's ventilation systems were upgraded and will be providing a constant flow of fresh air to the venue.

Eastbourne Theatres have a Covid ticket guarantee in place to give you the confidence to book, knowing that you won't lose out if you are isolating, 'pinged' or indeed have Covid. Full terms and details can be found on the venue website along with a video showing all the procedures they have in place around the venue.
