Touring London landmarks

Every year, the greatest Latin and Ballroom dancers in the world head to London for the International Dance Festival. For the second year running we've been honoured to play for the finals of this historic event at the Royal Albert Hall. A particular highlight was Julia's rendition of I Have Nothing (the Whitney Houston hit which we've reimagined as a Viennese Waltz). To see 6,000 people on their feet with hundreds of phone torches around the arena moving to the music was absolute magic.

The next stop for us was the Natural History Museum. Not your usual big band venue, we shared the main staircase with Darwin's statue, to provide the music for the World Dance Organisation's inaugural Gala Ball. It was lovely to see our friends from the world of dance, enjoying the beauty of dance without the stress of competition. Angela Rippon took to the floor with her Strictly partner, Kai Widdrington with world champions everywhere we looked.

Thanks to the organisers of both of these events for inviting us to play.
