Warner Acts Announced
What a line-up we have in store for our Warner guests this year! If you're joining us at Sinah Warren in October, I'm really pleased to tell you that firm favourite, Clare Teal will be joining us for what promises to be a great night. The Jazz FM presenter and one of the biggest names in swing is a fabulous and hugely entertaining singer; one to look forward to.
I'm always trying to find new people to collaborate with. Our cabaret sets at Warner give us the opportunity present unique 60-minute sets with big names; a chance for the audience to experience something really special. In May we'll be doing exactly this with singer and harmonica player Paul Jones.
Best known as Manfred Mann lead singer, Jones has later gone on to become one of the biggest names on the British blues scene, for many years hosting the BBC Radio 2 Blues Show. Perhaps you saw him on Jools Holland's 2023/24 Hootenanny performing his biggest hits Pretty Flamingo and Do Wah Diddy Diddy. I've had the pleasure of working with Paul a couple of times; once with a jazz trio, the other with a big band. His charisma, encyclopaedic knowledge of jazz and mesmerising harmonica playing have made me a true fan!
In less than two weeks, our first break of the year takes us to Gunton Hall, near Lowestoft. Proving a massive hit after a few guest spots with the band, this will be the first time that singer and violinist extraordinaire, Ben Holder will be performing a complete set with us. There are still a few rooms left and with prices starting at just £349 per person, what better last-minute getaway could there be?!
If you'd like to know more about our breaks, there's a page dedicated to them on our website. Don't forget all our breaks feature the full band with Matt Ford and Julia Sullivan on all four nights. Concerts and dancing galore!
