We take to the stage

The second showing of our "100 Year of Big Bands" was really rather spectacular! A near capacity concert hall in these times is a wonderful thing for all of us on stage to see. The warmth of reaction we received from the Cadogan Hall crowd lifted the band to new highs (quite literally in the case of Alex Maynard on the trumpet feature "Gonna Fly Now").

If you weren't at the concert, perhaps you caught Nicola Emmanuelle and me on BBC One's London News. Nicola and Matt Ford were both knock-out on the day and helped ensure a standing ovation at the end of the performance.
