Postcard from Dubai

It's a tough life being a musician but sometimes it works out just right! We had a lovely trip to UAE where the band went down a storm at the 1st Vienna Ball Dubai. Frustratingly the first gig we had lined-up was cancelled. We only discovered this as we landed at the airport. It was something to do with a licence which hadn't come through. Apparently this kind of thing happens all the time out there. This meant that the band had to suffer a night off and a lovely dinner at a club on the famous Palm. I told you - tough life! The ball itself though was a huge success so a big thank you to the organisers for inviting us to play.
