Some good viewing

The telly box doesn't always cater for our tastes these days but have you been watching Come Dancing? BBC Four have been showing old episodes from the 1970s and it's been great to watch. Andy Ross and Ray McVay's bands sounding in fine form and wow - what dresses! Some of the competitors went onto become British and World Champions and now appear regularly as adjudicators at the competitions where we play. Eleanor Keenan has been on a few times too which was a particular highlight for me. Many of the episodes are still available on iPlayer if you missed them.

Sticking with TV, did you catch us on Sky Arts again yesterday? Episode 2 of the series will be shown this coming Sunday at 12pm so do tune in, especially if you haven't seen the "100 Years of Big Bands" show yet. Please help us by dropping a note to Sky if you enjoyed the show. Perhaps a suggestion of another appearance by the band! Email their Viewer Relations department at viewerR@sky.uk.
