Swingin’ in the north
We've just about recovered from six days of music and six hundred miles of driving last week. Although hard-work, the response for our debut at the Tower Ballroom made it an unforgettable experience. The band received what I'm told was an unprecedented standing ovation during the Professional Ballroom Final. The praise has continued from the dance community through emails and social media comments. We've been invited to return to the Tower for a juvenile competition in October and then back for a five day event in May 2023.
Lovely to see a memorial to the great Eric Delaney as well as the fabulous Wurlitzer which still rises from beneath the stage. A trip up the Tower itself was a must for singer Iain Mackenzie and Joe whilst in tourist mode!
