Watch us on Sky Arts

Let's cut straight to the news we've been bursting to tell you all for the last few months: Sky Arts will be broadcasting our "100 Years of Big Bands" concert, recorded at Cadogan Hall last year.

Yes, that's right, an actual big band, in concert, on proper telly! The concert will be split into two 60 minute episodes, showing on June 20th and 27th.

It's a far cry from Joe’s back garden with passing tractors and chickens but the path to this TV show can be traced back to those humble beginnings. Because of your help and support with our livestreams, we had the confidence to film and produce our Cadogan Hall concert with the aim of streaming it at a later date. Little did we know that Sky would end up showing it! We really can't thank you enough; your honesty box contributions and messages of support meant that we tried more and more ambitious productions and this is really the culmination of that.

We don't know whether or not we'll be able to get Britain back into big bands in their masses, but with our recent chart success and now two TV programmes, we're not doing badly!

Sky Arts is free to watch (no need for a Sky subscription). It's on Freeview channel 11. The show will most likely repeat a number of times and will also be available on-demand through Sky Cinema and Now TV. Once the schedules are confirmed, we'll be back in touch with times.
